Scope and Content Notes
The collection includes documentation of James Withycombe's involvement in a 1911 Farming Demonstration Train tour of Oregon, as well as images portraying Withycombe on horseback in several equestrian poses, Withycombe in front of Education Hall, and a shot of the family's house in Corvallis. One of the images of Withycombe on horseback shows him riding on the street of an unidentified town with two younger horseriders that could be his children. The publications included in the collection are primarily farming and livestock raising textbooks and manuals, including one penned by Oregon Agricultural College Professor, John A. Bexell.
