The collection is comprised of annual reports, books, budgetary records, business cards, cds, contracts, correspondence, DVDs, meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, a patch, photographs, sound recordings, a USB drive, and video recordings. Documenting conferences and other educational events coordinated by Peace Jam Northwest, the records include resource guides, handbooks, and other curriculum materials designed for use by mentors and small group session participants.
The photographs number about 30 prints and depict activities at various Peace Jam Northwest gatherings. Many of the images were prepared for display and include captions.
Made up of a combination of photos, audio, Powerpoint presentations, and graphics, the files on the 33 cds contain images of Peace Jam events, speeches by the Nobel Prize recipients, background music for events, information on program participants, SMILE camp, and flyer graphics.
The 41 video recordings on MiniDV cassette (38) and VHS cassette (3) document Peace Jam events, an interview with Rigoberta Menchu, poetry readings at the 2000 Dr. M. L. King Celebration, and a students of color panel.
The sound recordings include microcassettes (47) and cassette tapes (6) which feature interviews with and presentations by Leah Gross, Cessa Heard-Johnson, Delia Ramirez, David Kong, Becky Warner, Candace Watson, John Young, and others.
The 24 floppy diskettes contain transcripts of interviews and files about the AISES focus group, the Community Involvement Fair, a diversity summit, the logo for CSC, and racial subliminal messages at OSU.
Produced by the national Peace Jam organization, the 3 DVDs detail the program's history and involvement around the world.
