The Harold C. Williams Papers include materials generated and collected by Williams that reflect his work in the educational community, his creation of youth programs, the honors that he received, and his family. Harold Williams served as the Director of Afirmative Action for the State of Oregon from 1973-1978. He was also involved with Portland-area chapters of the Urban League and the NAACP.
