The Wetlands Inventory and Survey Maps document the National Wetlands Inventory as conducted in the western United States and the central Willamette Valley and Pacific Coast in Oregon by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Office of Biological Services. The collection includes an atlas of state and local wetlands surveys that had been conducted in 1965-1975 as well as drafts of wetlands inventory maps documenting the type and extent of coastal and inland wetlands in Oregon.

Final National Wetlands Inventory maps for portions of the Willamette Valley and the Oregon Coast are available in the Valley Library maps collections and in the Guin Library at the Hatfield Marine Science Center. The Planimetric Maps of Oregon and Washington (MAPS Planimetric), Environmental Remote Sensing Applications Laboratory Records (RG 218), and Sea Grant College Program Records (RG 201) include additional materials regarding wetlands in Oregon.
