The Effie L. Wagner Scrapbook documents the 1928 Women's Debate Tour of several colleges and universities in the western United States. Three members of the Oregon Agricultural College (OAC) varsity women's debate squad (Effie Wagner, Dorothy E. Williams, and Helen B. Woodward) travelled to five campuses over a three-week period. Effie L. Wagner, graduated from OAC in 1928 with a degree in vocational education; she was manager of the women's debate squad.

The Memorabilia Collection includes several folders pertaining to debate and forensics activities at Oregon State. The Archives' holdings also include many scrapbooks that document the student experience during this period, including the C.B. Mitchell University Theater Scrapbooks, Associated Men's Halls Scrapbook, Cauthorn Club Records (RG 101), and Daniel P. and Doris Dow Murphy Papers.
