Letter from Linus Pauling to Bernd Matthias. October 2, 1967Pauling recommends that an attack on the problem of superconductivity using the methods described in his 1949 paper be undertaken. Pauling states that he believe this work would lead to correlations between superconductivity and other properties and offers to collaborate with someone capable of doing the work.
