  • Letter from Dr. Charles B. Pittinger, Department of Anesthesiology, University of Iowa, to LP RE: Pittinger is very intrigued by LP’s molecular theory of general anesthesia, and would like reprints of future work on the subject, as well as the one most recently.  He has done some work in that area, and thinks that the ideas he presented now make more sense in light of LP’s findings. • Letter from LP to G.C. Wadsworth, RE: LP was interested to read Wadsworth's article on his view of universal forces. LP doesn't think Wadsworth's twelve statements have much meaning and are a bit unclear because he doesn't define terms or give examples. LP points out how several of the statements contradict each other and shows how one of them violates one of Newton's laws. LP suggests that Wadsworth read one of his books, either College Chemistry or General Chemistry to see something about how much is known in the field of science now. [Filed under LP Correspondence: (W: Correspondence, 1960-1962), #445.2]
