Letter from Linus Pauling to Thomas Addis. July 5, 1944Pauling reports that, because of a lack of communication from the Committee on Medical Research, he is concerned that Addis’ funding may not be renewed. He suggests that Addis approach the Markle Foundation with a proposal emphasizing the clinical prevention renal damage in the treatment of nephritis. Pauling recommends that Addis attempt to publicize his treatment of nephritis, beginning with the publication of his book and a series of supplementary journal articles. View Transcript
