Letter from Henry Gilman to LP RE: Explains to LP that on his way back from Dallas he stopped by Fisk University. While visiting they discussed the possibility of taking on a "negro." He goes on to ask LP about his opinion in the matter and if he has heard anything about the work of James S. LuValle.
