  • Handwritten note from E. Bright Wilson, Jr. to LP, RE: Tells LP that the title page, problems, etc. arrived today, but that he hasn't received any of the original manuscript past chapter 4. Asks if LP sent them express. Informs LP that his title should be "Society of Fellows." Lists some of the corrections which Miss Gill suggested when he took the first four chapters of the manuscript over to McGraw-Hill. Discusses his visit to Princeton and the research he's been doing. Asks LP to tell Sydney that he's glad to hear he's fixed up in Russia and asks if LP is planning to go to the Washington meeting of the Physical Society. Tells LP that McGraw-Hill is going over the stuff he left them and says that if LP has the last chapter to them by January 15th then the final book should be ready by the middle of May.
