The Forestry Media Center Slide Collection consists of color slides created, assembled and maintained by the Forestry Media Center as a source of images for instruction and outreach in the Oregon State University College of Forestry. The collection also includes slides created by W.F. McCulloch, Dean of Forestry from 1955 until 1966. The collection includes images of forests and landscapes in North America; timber management, harvesting, and processing; and College of Forestry students and faculty.

The Special Collections & Archives Research Center's collections include numerous substantial and significant collections documenting forests, forestry, and wood products in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. The Gerald W. Williams Collection includes extensive photographic documentation of forestry in the Pacific Northwest. The College of Forestry Records (RG 139), Photographs (P 061), and Moving Images (FV P 061) provide extensive documentation of the forestry research, teaching, and extension programs at Oregon State. Materials assembled and written by W.F. McCulloch pertaining to forestry education and forest management in Oregon comprise the W.F. McCulloch Collection.
