Home Economics faculty, ca 1990s.  From left: Jean Roth, Naurine McCormick, Alberta Johnston, and Esther Taskerud. Alberta Johnston was a faculty member for the Extension Service from 1963-1990. Starting as a Home Management Specialist in 1963, Johnston eventually became the Deputy Director of the Extension Service in 1987. Her focus was home economics. Esther Taskerud became the Assistant State 4-H Club Leader in November of 1947. Taskerud later served as the head of Home Economics from 1963-1969, retiring in 1970.

These include the College of Home Economics and Education Records (RG 141); the College of Home Economics Photographs (P 044), Motion Picture Films and Videotapes (FV P 044), and Oral Histories (OH 11); the papers and collections of many home economics alumni; and the records of several home economics organizations, including the Oregon Home Economics Association Records. The Alumni Association Records (RG 035) provide information about all Oregon State alumni and university-wide alumni programs and activities.
