Letter from Linus Pauling to W.G. Schneider. April 21, 1955Pauling writes that he was interested to read Schneider’s paper on the role of lone-pair electrons in the hydrogen bond published in the "Journal of Chemical Physics." Pauling notes that some of the arguments that Schneider gives have already been stated in the literature –- specifically, in "The Nature of the Chemical Bond," parts of which Pauling suggests Schneider should read.
