Letter from Linus Pauling to G.J. Harris. October 12, 1949

Pauling writes that he was interested in Harris’s idea about increasing graduate students only when professors increase. He wonders if he means that professors should organize a strike or if it is an action that administrators should take. He mentions that there are laws requiring universities to admit all qualified residents and that perhaps there should be an increase in schools instead.  View Transcript
