Letter from Linus Pauling to Paul Emmett. August 1, 1949Pauling thanks Emmett for his letter in July and is happy with the silica gel results that Emmett found. He adds that he will have Dr. Dickey write him about where to get the dyes Dr. Dickey used in his sample preparations. Pauling regrets that he missed seeing Emmett in Pittsburgh and mentions that Linus, Jr. and Anita had a baby boy, whom he visited in Boston after leaving Pittsburgh. View Transcript
