Letter from Linus Pauling to Harold P. Klug. August 23, 1937Pauling briefly discusses the events of his summer including the birth of his son, Edward Crellin Pauling and the construction of a new laboratory at Caltech. Pauling explains that he may not be able to visit Klug in Minnesota either before or after his trip to Cornell due to his responsibilities at Caltech. He states that he is in the process of collecting photographs of various men previously associated with the Caltech chemistry department and requests that Klug send a picture of himself.
