Schmidt tells LP they will arrive in Los Angeles on November 2nd and that members of the Society will be there to help them so LP need not inconvenience himself by coming to Los Angeles. Schmidt will call LP when they arrive in Pasadena and asks LP to help him find a good boarding house, which he and his wife will stay at until the end of January when he must go to the east of U.S.A. to call on some customers of his factory.
