Letter from Linus Pauling to John Harris. December 4, 1950Pauling expresses interest in Dr. Harris's recent paper, informing Harris of his intent to send a letter to Nature about sickle cell anemia with Dr. Itano. Pauling further discusses the details of his research in the subject and asks if Harris believes his work demonstrates that the birefringent aggregates are tactoids and not crystals.
