  • Letter from Dr. Sho-Chow Woo, Institute of Chemistry, Academia Sinica, China to LP RE: Believes LP must be back from England at this point, explains that Prof. Tsu-Ching Huang of Tsin-Hua University told him he is coming to Caltech for works on liquid structure and solutions theory, and he admires his good luck. Explains they lack spectroscopic plates, so he has not resumed his spectroscopic work and instead works on organic chemistry reactions as they require less equipment. Sends to LP through Prof. Huang 4 issues of “Science and Technology in China” and 2 copies of the List of Publications of the Chemistry Institute, Academia Sinica, and hopes they will be of interest to the members of Caltech.
