  • Letter from Millard Mayer, Chairman, Community Relations Bureau, to Mary E. Ray, Secretary, Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists. Writes that they received the 300 copies of Dr. Einstein's article "Only Then Shall We Find Courage" but they've yet to receive the copies of John Hersey's "Hiroshima." Also writes that they received a note from George L. Glasheen of the National Committee on Atomic Information saying the American Friends Service Committee has also ordered material for the Institute on International Relations conference, but John Hersey's article was not ordered, and they would still like to receive them.
