- Lab. Budget 1933-4, hand-written notes. [LP Science Box 14.037, Folder 4]
- Letter from LP to Sam Goudsmit. RE: Thanks him for his letter. Was surprised by the election to the National Academy. Is coming to see him in June. Doesn't know where Bacher could get a job. Discusses the experiments of Lawrence from Berkeley. Discusses his own work. [Filed under LP Correspondence: G: Individual Correspondence, Box #137.4]
- Letter from Louis P. Hammett, Columbia University, to LP RE: Interested in LP's systemization of inorganic chemistry formulae which LP is accomplishing. Points out a small error in one of LP's articles published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society in which LP suggests a formula for antimonates. Hammett states that he suggested the formula and was published by McGraw-Hill in 1929, but is not concerned about the claim for priority, just the LP should know. Suggests LP extend his principles to the ammonia compounds studied by Franklin and Bergstrom, explains why, and gives two formulae. [Filed under LP Personal Safe: Drawer 3, Folder 3.018.103]
- Note from Lindsay Helmholz to LP RE: Mentions Dr. Mayer's letter of May 9, 1933 which asked if there was room for Helmholz at Pasadena and that LP replied there was. Writes to accept LP's offer for him to work in Pasadena next year and asks LP to send him a catalog for the coming year. Informs LP that he will be at the University of Baltimore for the next month. June 28, 1932 [should be 1933] [Letter from LP to Helmholz July 12, 1933] [Filed under LP Personal Safe: Drawer 3, Folder 3.018.104]
