Letter from Linus Pauling to Wilhelm Foerst. June 27, 1955Pauling writes that Figure 29-3 is satisfactory with the change that Foerst made and that he looks forward to receiving the proofs in the future. Pauling makes several suggestions, including translating "orbital" to "Bahneigenfunktion," and introducing elements 99, 100, and 101 in the textbook. Pauling encloses a preface for the German edition, and notes that he read the Staab manuscript and did not find any errors. View Transcript
