Letter from Linus Pauling to W.H. Freeman July 28, 1954Pauling writes that he discussed with Van Niel the possibility of him writing a book on microbiology, and adds that if Van Niel writes such a book, Pauling is sure he would use W.H. Freeman as his publisher. Pauling notes that he also discussed Oginsky's book with Van Niel and, based on his negative reaction, feels that Freeman should contact Van Niel before publishing Oginsky's book. View Transcript
