Letter from Linus Pauling to Floyd E. Rowland. January 5, 1952Pauling notes that it has been twelve years since he has seen Dr. Rowland, and states that he found Rowland's address in the booklet for the Department of Chemistry at the University of Illinois. Pauling updates Rowland on his eldest son, Linus Jr., who just received his M.D. from Harvard in June. He writes that he is very busy with work; he is giving freshman lectures and doing research on protein- and nucleic acid structures. Pauling briefly describes his recent travels to France and England and notes that he will be traveling to Brussels next April.
