Letter from Linus Pauling to Arthur Linz. May 17, 1949

Pauling states that in going over his report on “The Structural Chemistry of Molybdenum” for Dr. Killeffer, he noticed that the compositions of the molybdenum silicides and ferromolybdenum that Climax produces are very close to the pure phases of these substances. Pauling suggests that x-ray photographs be made of the two commercial preparations and requests that samples of each be sent to him.  View Transcript
