Letter from Linus Pauling to William T. Astbury. December 6, 1943Pauling states that, due to more pressing matters, he and Dr. Shaffer have been unable to publish a paper on the use of punched card machines in x-ray and electron diffraction calculations. He instead provides a description of the method used by his department for manipulating the machines. He recommends that Astbury obtain copies of the master cards used at Caltech. View Transcript
