Letter from Linus Pauling to Carl Niemann. April 30, 1937

Pauling explains that because Niemann has been tentatively selected to receive a Rockefeller Foundation grant, Pauling has agreed to use Caltech funds to help finance Niemann's stay in England. He states that Niemann will receive aid from Caltech for travel while in Europe and stipend in a payment method yet to be determined. He suggests that Niemann use the funds provided by Caltech to travel through Europe and meet with leading scientists there in order to establishing a working relationship.  View Transcript
