Letter from Linus Pauling to George B. Kistiakowsky. February 11, 1936Pauling writes to congratulate Kistiakowsky on his research on heats of hydrogenation. Pauling asks that, if possible, Kistiakowsky provide Pauling's lab with small samples of hydrocarbons, tetramethylethylene, dimethyl acetylene, and methyl acetylene. He briefly discusses his and Dr. Brockway's work and suggests that he would be willing to carry out any electron diffraction investigations that would benefit Kistiakowsky. View Transcript
