Letter from Linus Pauling to Henry Eyring. January 9, 1936Pauling writes, informing Eyring that no doctoral fellowships are available, but that a position for a research assistant may be available. If Hirschfelder were to be offered a position, he would be required to work on a project determined by Caltech rather than himself.
