Letter from Linus Pauling to Louis Fieser November 5, 1935

Pauling writes to inform Fieser that he will not be publishing his paper on napthalene despite it being accepted for publication. He apologizes for the rudeness with which the paper treated Fieser's work and suggests that, if possible, Fieser find a chemical means of testing resonance so that his work might be improved with additional support.  View Transcript
