Harnit Mahal
Harnit Mahal (b. 1999), a first generation college student, graduated from Oregon State University in fall 2022 with degrees in Psychology and Communications. She then worked as an academic counselor for OSU’s Equal Opportunity Program before beginning graduate studies in Communications at Oregon State in fall 2023. At the time of this interview, Mahal was moving through the first year of her master’s program and teaching courses in public speaking as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
