Josie Clark

Josie Clark was born in Atlanta, Georgia, where she lived until she was five years old before moving to Oregon for the next eight years. When she was thirteen, her dad accepted a job offer that relocated her family to Colombia, South Carolina, where they lived for four years. She began her freshman year there at a large, public high school before her family moved back to Oregon, at which point she transitioned to a private school for the second half of high school. Having grown fond of the Pacific Northwest, Clark decided to attend Oregon State University starting in the Fall of 2019.

Clark, who had dreamed of being an astronaut in her childhood, opted to start off her undergraduate degree as a Biology major. As her time at Oregon State progressed, she realized that the business field held more opportunities for development, and soon after she switched her major. As she dedicated time to discovering the many different specialties in business that Oregon State offered, she found herself specifically enjoying marketing, and eventually decided upon that as her specialty. Clark completed her bachelor’s degree in 2023 and, as of March 2024, was furthering her education at OSU by pursuing an MBA degree.

During her time at Oregon State, Clark was heavily involved in Greek life as a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority, holding multiple officer positions including ritual chair and chapter president. During her time as president, she was responsible for bringing the local chapter house up to current ADA standards so that the house could adopt the affiliated housing program. During her tenure, the chapter also greatly reduced its debt load.
