Partial Transcript: "So, where were you born?"

Segment Synopsis: This segment involves where Suzy was born and describes how her family ended up in Glendale Oregon all the way from Chicago Illinois. It describes how her family found work and points out if there was any strain on the family from such a huge move. She also mentions how her family never looked back to Chicago and built a life in Oregon. She describes the geographical area around her home and her family's farm.

Segment Synopsis: This segment goes over how her family started as outsiders but was soon integrated into the community with involvement with the school. she describes how small Glendale was (800 people), and points out how small the school was as well. She also describes how she was different, looking for higher education instead of wanting to work in the mill like most of the people in her town. She points out that her mother helped her to not be afraid to look for higher education and helped show her that higher education was a possibility for her.
