Dear Dr. Lothrop:

This letter is to certify that no inventions have been made by myself, Dr. George G. Wright, Dr. William H. Eberhardt, or Mr. Frank Lanni in connection with the work carried on at the California Institute of Technology under OSRD Contract OEMsr-1406. These are the only people who have been employed directly under this contract.

During the past week I have investigated the work done at Stanford University under a subcontract of contract OEMsr-1406. I can certify that no inventions have been made by Dr. G.W. Beadle and his assistants under this subcontract.

Yours truly,

Linus Pauling
