"Linus Pauling and the Nature of the Chemical Bond: A Documentary History" was originally created and launched in December 2004. A significant trove of additional content was added and released in commemoration of the one-hundred and seventh anniversary of Linus Pauling's birth on February 28, 2008. The website is a product of the Oregon State University Libraries Special Collections: Cliff Mead, Head of Special Collections; Chris Petersen, Faculty Research Assistant; Ryan Wick, Information Technology Consultant.
