Fargo, N.D. Spring Vacation April 5, 1947

Mr. Albert Einstein

Dear Sir: IN reply to the request for funds in you letter of March 20: Your Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists has my all out moral support.

It should have more than that, but finances on the G.I. Bill fall short of covering the demands made; there is no source for more than that at the present time.

I agree that an international control of atomic energy, as well as misguided human energy, can only be accomplished if the peoples of all countries are brought to realize the gravity of our present world situation. Good luck to you in your undertaking.

Respectfully yours, Bruce Johnson Carleton College Northfield, Minn.
