Dear Sir:
Considering the nature of the picture accompanying this letter you may well be curious just why I should choose you out of all other to be its' recipient. Indeed it does appear incongruous for me to decide on a scientist amongst men, but if you will bear with me I shall endeavor to explain why. For sometime now I have been aware of the United World Federalists, the basic idea which gives this group its existence, and some of the people behind the movement. Because I believe implicitly such action on the part of mankind is the one thing which stands between him and a return to the animal king-
