Chas. J. Wehr Physician and Surgeon Hours: 2 to 5 P.M. Daily Phones: Office 2-5141 10 to 11 A.M. 7 to 8 P.M. Res. 2-5142 Morning and Evening Hours Preferably by Appointment Bellevue, Ohio January 28, 1947 Albert Einstein, Chairman Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists 90 Nassau Street Princeton, N.J. Dear Sirs: I have received through the mail your leaflet with the article by Dr. Albert Einstein and Dr. Christian Gaus, the latter of which I had read before in the Autumn number of The American Scholar, I read both articles to my wife and at once she decided to have her paper on the same subject, which is due in a little over a month to be read in her social service club of about thirty-five members. We feel it would be a great help to impress any important information, which she would obtain from these articles and read to them, if she could have a leaflet to hand out to each of these members. I am enclosing a contribution of %5.00, and if you will I would appreciate it at least enough copies of this leaflet for her to give out to her members of her club, which I'm sure would serve to in a helpful way, the purpose of your organization. Sincerely yours, Chas. J. Wehr Chas. J. Wehr, M.D.
