Dear Miss Ray,-
Please convey to Professor Einstein my grateful thanks for your letter of February 24, 1947. From the third paragraph in same, it appears that, you have not heard from any of the Glasgow people to whom I have given your Committee's pamphlet, and this is discouraging. My hope is that many committees are much less clanish and sluggish, less mert and not so heavy with apathy, as is the case in Glasgow. However, my efforts have not been all in vain. I mailed copies to my brother, T.A. Esval, to a sister and her husband, J. T. Sparling, and these have written me that, they have responded with their checks. It may interest you to learn of a few of the contacts I made:- The Christian Science friends, in whose home I have spent this winter, thinks Mrs. Eddy's
