Dear Mr. Einstein:
I am sending the enclosed check on my son's eighth birthday - a gift in which he can hardly be interested as yet, but one which I trust will help to make a better world for him and many other children.
The gift is small because of other heavy obligations which we have; but we should like to be called upon again if you do not get your full subscription.
