Dear Dr. Urey:
I take pleasure in enclosing my contribution of $10 towards the good cause.
With regard to the dinner in New York in honor of Dr. Condon, I had seen a notice of it in the papers, but I had assumed that it was just for the New York group, and I did not get anything in the nature of an invitation to participate. From your letter of April 1, I rather surmize that it would be in order for me to be present. If this is the case, will you kindly let me know the price of the dinner and where it is to be held, so that, if I can possibly manage it, I can be there - if, indeed, I am among those who would be included.
