I have your telegram of May 23rd, and am enclosing herewith my check for $250.00 as an expression of my support.
Needless to say, I am deeply interested in the Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists, and wish you every success in your efforts. I realize how important it is for the atomic energy to be harnessed and properly applied to the peaceful and prosperous development of our world.
