THOMAS G. PULLEN, JR STATE SUPERINTENDENT STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION LEXINGTON BUILDING BALTIMORE 1, MARYLAND

October 21, 1947

Dr. Elbert Einstein Princeton, New Jersey

My dear Dr. Einstein:

Sometime ago I saw at a luncheon with Miss Charlotte Owens, 1303 Highfield Road, Stanford, Connecticut, and in the course of the conversation I told her I had made a small contribution to the Organi-zation of Scientists interested in the Atomic Bomb.

Miss Owens exhibited considerable interest in the work that you were doing and intimated that she might make a small contribution if she were to receive some information about your work.

I do not know definitely, of course, that Miss Owens will contribute, but I do believe that she would be interested in hearing from you concerning the work of your group.

Sincerely yours, T. G. Pullen, Jr. Thomas G. Pullen, Jr. State Superintendent of Schools TGP'emw
