Our Human Reason was the last stake cast by the Life against all powerful odds mobilized by the non-living Universe which "did not want Life"!
A momentous human tragedy has been staged in that blind play of chances in which the greatest intellectual achievement of the human race - a final approach to the keys of the Cosmic Energy - has been at long last realized in form... of that miserable can filled up with 15 pounds of an explosive, capable of producing not the process but... the catastrophe of tectonic, elemental proportions!...
I have no intention to present here the contents of my writing. I respectfully call your attention to the fact that I have something to say on this subject so close to your mind and minds of your collegues and so important for all of us.
I believe that the Russian language of my writing is not an unsurmountable difficulty for your organization simply because there are quite a few scientists in your midst who are well familiar with the Russian language. And so far as there is also a normal doze of a good will and unprejudiced interest - the contents of my writing in a summarized, condensed form of a few typed pages can be made available for your Committee.
Now I have to explain why I am so aggressive or perhaps if you are inclined to consider the above made suggestions as a flagrant display of my bad manners - I have to state definitely why I seem to be so presumptuous in any insistency to make my writing available and readable for your Committee.
Were I the author of some original, new ideas or schemes - believe me - I never would have attempted to attract your attention to my work in this urgent, abnormal way.
In fact as the author of my writing I do proceed already in a normal, decent way. I am trying to find ways and means for translation of my prospective book into English and french; I am exploring various approaches to the publishers and so on and so forth. But such a procedure is a natural result of that very common tribulation and unescapable calamity for every one who wrote a book and does not know yet what to do about it!
My writing is not concerned (at least in 90% of it) with my own original ideas or views.
I am only presenting ideas and views of two famous Russian Scientists and incomparable teachers - Prof. N.A.Umoff (1846-1915) and Prof, V.J. Vernadsky (1863-1945).
