copy May 29, 1947 Albert Einstein, Chairman Emergency Committee for Atomic Information 90 Nassau Street Princeton, New Jersey Dear Dr. Einstein: About a year and a half ago I wrote an editorial about the atomic bomb for McCall's Magazine. The title of the editorial was "The Lost Moment." Recently Universal Pictures Company, Inc. advised me that they would like to use this title on a motion picture which they are producing (it has nothing to do with the bomb) and asked me to release the use of the title to them. I told them I would gladly do so if they would agree to pay $500 to your fund. Enclosed is their check. Sincerely yours, Raymond Rubicam
