Dear Professor Einstein:
In response to your night letter addressed to Mrs. Rosenfeld and myself I am glad to enclose my check for One hundred dollars. It would seem to me that the sum required should be very quickly forthcoming. I would be glad to learn how you get on. If there is any great difficulty a further contribution is not beyond the bound of poss-ibility.
