There is an immediate need, however, to halt this steady tramp, tramp, of ignorance into a maelstrom of destruction. It is a tremendous pity that at a time like this we have such an aggregation of uninformed weaklings in positions of power; and that goes for all political parties and for all of our going institutions - political, religious, educational, fraternal, economic. And we must, therefore, try to arrest the attention of the powers that be to the inevitable destination of this train of events now in motion. I am spreading you telegram in the hope that you will receive an abundance of backing.
Yours sincerely, U. G. Moore 7723 14th N.E.
