Dr. Albert Einstein, Chairman Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists 118 Nassau Street Princeton, New Jersey
Dear Dr. Einstein:
Thank you for your letter of April 29, and your statement, A POLICY FOR SURVIVAL. I enclose my gift of $10.00 toward your fund. I am a business man, not a scientist, but it seems to me that what you say makes sense to everyone, regardless of their calling.
I believe that ministers, lawyers, business men, school teachers, and like persons, all of whom are leaders in our community life, would do well to read this message. If you will send me 150 reprints of A POLICY FOR SURVIVAL I shall be glad to distribute them. Or, I could send you a mailing list so that you could make the distribution, which would obviously be more effective.
Wishing you and your Committee every success in your most worthy and urgent project, I am
Sincerely yours, J Ellison Loth
