300 First St Fairmount. W. Va. Sept.28 - 47 Dear Dr. Einstien: I am in hearty sympathy with the work of your"Emergency Committiee" but i have very little money to give to any of the many good causes in which I am interested. I am a "retired" School Teacher (aged 71) with not even a pension. I retired (because of defective hearing) before the days of pensions, and am partly dependant upon relatives for my support. However, I am sending you a list of names to whom you may send duplicates of the letter and contents you sent me, I doubt if any (perhaps one or two) of them are already on your list. Am also enclosing a small contribution which will at least pay the postage of the said letters. Sincerely yours, (Mrs!) Ethel C, McBee
