Dear Dr. Einstein: Enclosed is a check for ten dollars. I offer it humbly and with a wish that it contained more ciphers. The magnitude of the task which you are your committee have undertaken certainly merits prompt response. I do hope that your appeal has been eminently successful.
The outlook in the political arena darkens. We, the people, are finding that the making of public opinion, which is king in America, is dominantly under the control of interests which are directly opposed to our wishes. We want one world and peace. In America, the sovereignty of us, the people, has become the sovereignty of great wealth thru their control of daily press and radio. The daily re-iteration of lies is fast becoming impossible to correct. The conviction
